Our Story
The Modesto ADU Builders was founded right here in Modesto, CA with one mission: make adding an accessory dwelling unit the easiest home upgrade a Central Valley family can make. After watching neighbors struggle with out-of-town contractors who didn't understand Modesto's permitting process, our founder built a team of local designers, project managers, and licensed builders dedicated exclusively to ADU construction.
Today we've completed over 100 ADUs across Modesto, Turlock, Ceres, Stockton, and the rest of Stanislaus County — from compact 400 sq ft garage conversions to fully custom 1,200 sq ft detached ADUs and JADUs. Every project is led by Modesto-based professionals who know the City of Modesto Planning Department, Stanislaus County inspectors, and the local subcontractor network by name.
